About us

For over 25 years, Rehoboth has been a home of hope for destitute women, offering not just food, clothing, shelter, and psychiatric medicines, but also the love, care, and dignity they deserve. Every woman who comes through our doors is welcomed with compassion and given an opportunity to heal, rebuild her life, and rediscover her sense of worth. Through rehabilitation projects such as Tailoring and Embroidery, Pet Rearing, Animal Husbandry, and Agriculture, women are encouraged to learn new skills, regain confidence, and become more independent. Rehoboth also reaches out to children from economically disadvantaged families with special needs through its Special School, providing free education, transport, and food. Over the years, Rehoboth has sheltered and cared for more than 1,000 women, while helping over 200 women return to their families and communities. What makes our journey especially meaningful is seeing women who were once in need of care now becoming caregivers themselves. Through “Kudumbam – Halfway Home,” some of our recovered women continue to stay back and support others who are walking the same path. At Rehoboth, we believe that every life has value, every woman deserves a second chance, and with love, patience, and opportunity, a life once marked by hardship can bloom again with dignity, belonging, and hope.
